Lincoln Continental Concept

After years spent on life support, Lincoln appears to be responding to resuscitation efforts. The Ford Motor subsidiary’s Continental Concept landed like a time traveller in the Jacob K Javits Center, bearing traits of both backward and forward movement through the continuum.
Though the Continental carries a silhouette that hints at past glories, this new concept substitutes a smart twin-turbocharged 3-litre EcoBoost V6 engine for its forebear’s cast-iron big-block 460 cubic-inch V8. Electronically operated door handles underscore the Continental’s modernity before drivers even enter its leather, wood, satin, shearling and Alcantara-swaddled cabin.
Turns out that Lincoln was just moderately comatose
