A young woman was rushed to a hospital after she accidentally swallowed a metal spoon while eating noodles.
Doctors in Jiangsu, China, said that they removed the 6-inch metal spoon from the 27-year-old woman who has been identified as Xing Nvzai Wang.
According to Wang, she was eating noodles at a quick pace when the stainless steel spoon followed the noodles down her throat.
The spoon sat in her stomach for three hours before she eventually got medical help. Chinese Doctors spent two hours trying to attach a hook to the spoon in order to pull it out.
Doctors have however said that they were skeptical about Wang’s story as there is a possibility she deliberately swallowed the spoon or it was forced down her throat, but she refused to talk about the incident.
Wang has since made a full recovery and has been discharged from the hospital.
